Chemical Operator

Company in the Fountain Inn area is seeking Chemical Operators! As a chemical operator, your duties will include: - Work with chemicals- Primarily Nonhazardous chemicals, but sometimes working with hazardous raw materials and produce hazardous finished goods - All appropriate PPE is provided by the company - Full and half face respirators are only issued after training has been conducted and you pass a physical exam - Operate forklifts (electric sit down tricycle configuration) - Pick inventory using a pick list - Issue inventory to batches - Liquids are primarily pumped into tanks, but some material must be hand poured into the batch - Powders are either charged manually from bags or dumped form super sacks using overhead cranes - Clean equipment - Connect pumps, hoses, lances, filters, and other fitting - Interface with computer system that includes a warehouse management system - Train to follow ISO 9001 standards All applicants are required to have a minimum of a high school education and have a clean criminal record with no drug or violent crime convictions. This is a 1st shift position- Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm
