Lab Technician

Actalent is looking for a chemistry or biology graduate in Garland for a lab technician opportunity! If you are interested, please read the job description below.

Description/Job Duties:

• Perform Quality Testing on samples
• Preparing and shipping color panel requests
• Utilizing instrumentation in the lab for Quality Testing
• Create reagents and standards for laboratory testing
• Perform coating coil application
• Package and ship customer samples
• Perform calculations and utilize formulas accurately
• Cleaning and Maintaining the Laboratory

Pay/benefits:

• 19.00 USD Hourly
• health, dental, vision
• 401K

Work Environment: This is a chemical production environment and exposure to chemical fumes and debris along with electrical currents and vibrations is common.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Associates in Chemistry or Biology preferred.
• STEM backgrounds and laboratory experience can substitute for educational requirements.
• Will accept recent graduates!

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
