Laboratory Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a Contract job with a client in Maple Grove, MN . Candidates must be proficient in analytical techniques such as pipetting, weighing, and test execution to support product testing, failure analysis, and quality initiatives. Rate Range: $20/hour to $27.34/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Laboratory Technician job responsibilities include: Perform routine particulate and analytical testing on medical devices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols. Document and analyze test results, maintaining detailed records and reporting findings to relevant teams. Troubleshoot testing issues and assist in failure analysis and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) activities. Support process and product qualification efforts, including test method development and equipment validation. Maintain lab equipment and perform preventive maintenance, ensuring readiness and calibration. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and assist during audits by retrieving documents and supporting quality processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Associate degree in a scientific discipline (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent work experience in a laboratory setting. Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in a lab environment, preferably in the medical device or regulated industry. Proficiency in basic analytical lab techniques such as pipetting, weighing, and using lab equipment.
