Our Client a leading petrochemical producer, we are looking for a talented Chemical Engineer to join our team at the Haverhill, OH site, where they manufacture chemicals. This role offers the opportunity to drive process optimization, troubleshoot complex challenges, and support key projects that enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations.

**Title:** Chemical Engineer

**Key Responsibilities**

+ Optimize chemical processes to enhance safety, productivity, and efficiency.

+ Provide technical support for troubleshooting process and equipment issues to minimize downtime.

+ Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement improvements and best practices.

+ Develop and maintain process documentation, including operating procedures and process flow diagrams.

+ Participate in process safety management (PSM) activities, including hazard analysis and risk assessments.

+ Support capital and plant improvement projects by contributing to design, procurement, and commissioning efforts.

+ Analyze process data to identify trends and recommend process enhancements.

+ Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

+ Perform other duties as assigned to support plant operations and engineering initiatives.

**Qualifications**

+ Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.

+ Experience in a chemical manufacturing environment.

+ Strong knowledge of chemical processes, process control systems, and equipment.

+ Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities to resolve complex technical challenges.

+ Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team.

+ Familiarity with process safety management (PSM) principles is a plus.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen) is beneficial.

+ Strong communication skills with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
