Position Specific Description
The candidate in this position will be expected to perform the following Additional Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs and documents laboratory analyses in a safe and timely manner in accordance with standard operating procedures based on EPA, ASTM, and Standard Methods.
Generate reports of analyses through use of the laboratory information management system.
Maintain instruments for reliable operation.
Properly manage waste generation.
Availability to take after-hours work as needed.
Job may include other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Overview Employees in this job perform and document laboratory analyses in a timely manner in accordance with approved test methods and NELAC quality control requirements.Job Duties & Responsibilities Under general supervision:
Generates reports of analyses and maintains computer database
Maintains proper sample integrity, preservation, and logs
Manages waste generation properly
Maintains equipment under operating and reliable conditions
Leads, trains, and coaches equipment maintenance requirements for the Lab
Performs quality assurance reviews of other's laboratory analyses
Develops laboratory procedures
Performs other job-related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications High School Grad / GED
