Chemist Technician

Purpose of Position The Chemistry Technician will perform all duties as assigned and will be responsible for accepting the samples, prepare the media, run microbiological and chemical analysis and evaluate the results of raw material and finished product samples. Key Responsibilities Testing: Conducts chemical and physical tests to determine the properties of food as assigned Analyzing: Compiles and analyzes test results Presenting: Prepares reports, graphs, and charts to share research findings Maintaining: Sets up, operates, and maintains laboratory equipment Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems with production equipment Preparing: Prepares chemical solutions Perform other duties as assigned. Key Skills and Experience Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or any related science or 3-5 years of experience in analytical food industry laboratory Basic principles of biochemistry, organic and inorganic chemistry Basic Microbiology using standard methods, rapid tests, and PCR Shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint systems. Multi-tasking, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment Mathematical aptitude with analytical proficiency and Professional communication skills Excited about this role but don't meet every requirement listed?
