B2B Gateway is seeking an experienced SDET II to work as a key team member to help deliver software that meets high quality standards. We need someone who is willing to learn and help deliver quality throughout the whole development lifecycle, right from requirements analysis through test scripting, test execution, and test reporting.
What you'll own (5-6 role responsibilities)
As an SDET II you can work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups, and training clients on applications.
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand new features and technical designs.
Design, develop, and maintain automated tests (API, UI) using various testing frameworks and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
Analyze test results, identify defects, and report them accurately and concisely in a bug tracking system (e.g., Rally, Jira, Azure DevOps).
Monitor and maintain CI/CD pipelines related to testing, ensuring tests are running effectively and efficiently.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps) to ensure a high-quality product release.
Identify and implement improvements to existing testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
Provide support for production issues when needed, assisting in root cause analysis and verification of fixes.
What you bring
5+ years of experience testing RESTful APIs, SOAP Web Services, Web applications, and Windows services.
Proficient in the use of at least one test automation framework.
In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS,Azure)if applicable.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
