Description
Position Overview:Responsible for supporting the development of various products including raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products for the ink industry. Duties include, sample and small batch preparation, physical property measurement, printer operation, and raw material replenishment. Primary Responsibilities: - Conducts laboratory testing on products.- Inventory management of all lab supplies and equipment.- Prepares samples and scale-up batches.- Purges retains according to retention schedule.- Maintains an accurate, detailed, and witnessed notebook.- Maintains cleanliness of the R&D laboratories and print areas.- Maintains an organized system of storage for consumable materials and replacement parts in the R&D lab according to the Chemical Hygiene Plan.- Supports the product development / R&D team.- Performs lab equipment maintenance, calibrations, and troubleshooting.

Education and/or Experience Requirements: - High School Diploma or GED- Need 1+ year of industry laboratory experience.Employee must be able to operate lab equipment properly and safely, including, but not limited to:- Surface tensiometer- Microscope- Scales / Analytical balances- Viscometers- Spectrophotometers- Conductivity meters- Energy curable light sources (UV, LED, E-beam)- FTIR- Refractive Index - Colorimeters
Experience Level
Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your jobclassification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
