Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and innovative Scientist to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advancing our client's understanding of autoimmune and inflammation diseases, and in the identification of novel therapeutic targets. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to multiple discovery and development programs, and to participate in the evaluation of new targets and molecules.
Job Responsibilities:
Work within the inflammation Research group to support our client's efforts in understanding autoimmune/inflammation diseases and identifying novel targets.
Design, plan, execute, and interpret cellular assays, ex vivo assays, molecular profiling/screening, proteomics, and single cell RNA sequencing studies.
Support multiple discovery/development programs and participate in the evaluation of new targets and molecules.
Independently design, develop, and execute complex cellular assays for mechanistic characterization of diverse targets and pathways.
Generate and analyze experimental data, troubleshoot efficiently, prepare written reports, and deliver impactful presentations.
Present scientific data in internal and external meetings.
Skills Required:
PhD or Master's degree with 2+ years of industry experience.
Proficiency in cell-based assays, pathway-dependent assays, ex vivo, in vitro, and molecular biology techniques.
Expertise in primary cell culture, mammalian cell biology techniques, cellular functional assays, ex vivo assays, flow cytometry, and various transfection and transduction techniques.
Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including PCR, qPCR, cloning, Western blotting, and ELISA.
Ability to perform lab work independently.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills, outstanding communication and presentation skills.
