Kelly Science and Clinical is currently recruiting for a qualified, full-time, contract-to-hire Lab Analyst I in the Novi, Michigan area.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with taking production batched samples and test for quality against certain specifications
  
• This position will also suggest batch adjustments for production as well
  
• Ability to operate/troubleshoot the following Instrumentation/techniques: titrations, pH meters, AA, HPLC, UV, and ICP

Qualifications/Education/Skills:

• Bachelors degree in a chemistry or science discipline with some applicable analytical experience required.
  
• No industry experience required but two years of industry experience preferred; if not industry experience, however, must have relevant experience with aforementioned instrumentation such as AA, HPLC, UV, ICP, etc.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and exhibit accuracy
  
• Comfortable working with/around concentrated acids and using required PPE.
  
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  
• Ability to work in a close-knit group and great personality; team player
  
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Pay : $20 22/hr and based on experience this position does have potential for growth over time.

Hours: M-F, 6AM 230PMEST Availability for overtime as needed upon conversion
