Job Title: Quality Control Chemist

Job Description

Perform various analytical instrumentation testing to support finished products and raw materials testing in a regulated environment. Utilize all laboratory equipment and understand the principles behind the instrumentation, as well as wet chemistry testing following USP methodologies. Participate and understand stability testing and organize data and documentation in quality management system.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing as assigned and manage testing and documentation of monthly samples within the Stability Program.
• Pull and log in stability receipts, and enter data accurately.
• Perform wet chemistry testing following USP methodologies.
• Assist with departmental projects and manage steps to plan, organize, and move projects independently.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with 1-3 years of relevant job experience, preferably from a GMP/ FDA regulated environment.
• Master's degree in Chemistry with 0-1 years of experience, preferably from a GMP/ FDA regulated environment.
• Experience with Assay and Organic Impurities (HPLC, GC), Residual Solvents, and titrations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Knowledge of HPLC, GC, and titration techniques.
• Experience in assay testing.

Work Environment

Will work within a Quality Control Lab environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $32.00/hr.
