What You'll Be Doing
The Medical Lab Scientist will perform a variety of important functions including:
Under general supervision, the Medical Lab Scientist performs all laboratory procedures as required according to established regulations, hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Provides and performs analytical testing and/or procedures that require independent judgment.
Operates and maintains current instrumentation.
Displays sufficient knowledge of the current laboratory and hospital computer systems.
Per Diem Position - Day Shift - variable weekends and holidays
What We're Looking For
Bachelor degree, Medical Technology or Equivalent
ASCP Preferred.
Blood Bank experience required
1-2 years hospital setting preferred.
