Medical Laboratory Scientist
We are currently hiring for a PRN Medical Laboratory Scientistto work rotating shift within our Clinical Laboratory.
Compensation Range:
$44.05 - $70.47 per hour
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
American Society for Clinical Pathology - Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
Preferred:
Experience with EPIC preferred.
Experience with Vitros, Unity and WellSky preferred.
ASCP Speciality certifications preferred.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:
The Medical Technologist performs routine and special laboratory assays of patient specimens in all sections of Clinical Laboratory Medicine at an elevated level as a true generalist to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease and exercises independent judgment when evaluating the validity of test results prior to result reporting. Operates and calibrates all equipment in the area of specialization, evaluates the validity of laboratory data, records test results, communicates with physician, pathologists and nursing staff regarding test procedures and results.
