Our team is often busy, but available hours may vary depending on the number of active projects.
In these roles, as a Quality Control Specialist or Quality Control Specialist-Dual Language (Spanish), you will be responsible for obtaining detailed information about DSHS clients in order to facilitate multiple survey projects, such as the DSHS Client Survey. This survey provides data-driven decision support to inform the client care and services. You will use your knowledge of public assistance program structure and procedures, information sources, and investigative interviewing to obtain information on client experiences and compile data necessary for survey administration and analysis from various sources, including client records, DSHS service databases, and automated computer systems, and will generate data tables and summary information.

- Compare case records and electronic data from various programs within DSHS to obtain demographic data about clients.
- Resolve discrepancies by researching additional information using internet search engines, reverse directories, and employment history records.
- Generate data tables to summarize findings using Excel.
- Collaborate with the survey team to identify and resolve data discrepancies.
- Participate in team meetings, identify issues with research materials or procedures, contribute ideas to problem-solving discussions.
- Identify and report situations requiring immediate intervention, such as reports of potential abuse.
- Provide information about program contacts and available services.
