Job Description Join our dynamic team as an Analytical Chemist, where you will perform routine analytical chemical testing on a variety of samples including raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, water samples, and more. You will also conduct specialized testing to support development projects, troubleshoot methods, and investigate out-of-specification results. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine analytical testing on products submitted to the lab, including raw materials, in-process batches, finished goods, water samples, and stability samples.
- Perform specialized analytical testing as directed by the Laboratory Manager in support of development projects and new products.
- Document all results according to Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions.
- Review the work of other laboratory personnel as needed.
- Learn and practice laboratory instrumentation techniques such as gas chromatography (GC), High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), UV/Visible Spectrophotometry, and FTIR.
- Support cleaning validations and engineering trials through analytical work.
- Compile and summarize data when required.
- Perform general housekeeping and glassware cleaning.
- Communicate effectively with management, coworkers, suppliers, and customers.
- Complete other assignments as requested by the Lab Manager.
- Maintain and promote strong work ethics and adhere to all policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in analytical chemistry with experience in HPLC and GC.
- Strong documentation skills following Standard Operating Procedures.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or a related Laboratory Sciences field.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) lab preferred.
