Software Development Engineer, iOS

Zillow, Inc. seeks Software Development Engineer, iOS in Seattle, WA.

Job Duties: Responsible for building, testing, publishing, and maintaining reusable components in iOS apps. Work with SPM and the Swift + Xcode build system to package and distribute iOS libraries. Collaborate with product managers and designers. Write clear documentation understanding of iOS performance considerations and modern app development practices. Monitor and debug a wide variety of issues, such as crashes, memory leaks, main thread checking, scroll performance, layout issues. Build and run unit tests, use mocks and dependency injection where applicable. Build and run UI Automation tests. Telecommuting is permitted.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in job offered or two (2) years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Special Skills:

1) Objective C (2 years);

2) Swift UI/ Swift (2 years);

3) iOS Software Development (2 years);

4) Computer Science Algorithms;

5) SOLID principals and Object-Oriented Programming

Experience can be gained through academic coursework, scholastic achievements, or work experience. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.

Salary: $134,000 - $214,000 per year.
