R&D Scientist**
**Location:** Cincinnati, OH
**Hours:** M-F 8:00-5:00
**Length:** 1 year
**Job Description**
**What will you do?**
+ Conduct routine chemical and physical testing of pharmaceutical raw materials, finished products, and stability samples by internally developed and compendial test methods.
+ Verify and process analytical data.
+ Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation as needed.
+ Clearly and accurately communicate the results of work by creating documentation of the testing/analysis and obtained results.
+ Record and report results of analysis in accordance with prescribed lab procedures and systems. Maintain and organize work area, instrumentation, and testing materials.
+ Perform all duties in strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Laboratory Practices, and Safety guidelines.
**Required Skills:**
+ 0-2 years of experience within the field
+ Must be able to wear a respirator No facial hair allowed
+ Some general work or internships using instrumentations (HPLC, GC, Titration, Wet Chemistry, Balances, PH meters etc.)
+ HPLC experience preferred
+ Familiarity with GMP/GLP
+ General good interpersonal skills to get along with team
+ Wants to learn and grow.
+ Follow Established procedures
+ Degree/Certifications: Associates degree in physical science, preferably in Chemistry.
