LOWENSTEIN AND SONS, INC. is looking for a Cosmetic Formulation Chemist.Location of Employment: Brooklyn, New YorkHours of Work Per Week: Full-time, 40 Hours, 5 DaysSalary: $ 115,648.00 per yearJob Duties: oDevelop and refine cosmetic formulas.oConduct stability tests and resolve stability issues.oMonitor formula quality and ensure conformity to standards.oPerform quality control tests and develop nonstandard tests as needed.oIdentify suitable raw materials and technologies for product development.oPrepare detailed technical reports summarizing methods and findings.oProvide customer support and troubleshooting for commercial products.oEnsure products meet stability, safety, and microbiological testing requirements.oFacilitate the transition of products from laboratory batches to production.oCollaborate with chemical scientists or engineers to analyze research projects and interpret results.oImprove or customize products, equipment, processes, or analytical methods.oCompile and analyze test data to assess efficiency and diagnose issues.Minimum Job Requirements:oEducation Requirement:Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a foreign equivalent.oExperience Requirement:A minimum of 10 years of professional experience as a chemist in the personal care industry.Please send resume to David Lowenstein, JOS.
