Job Title: Quality Lab Technician - 1st Shift

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Shift: 1ST Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Worksite: 100% Onsite

Summary:

Our client is hiring a 1st Shift Quality Lab Technician to join their overnight quality control team at a well-established chemical manufacturing site. This position is ideal for detail-oriented lab professionals who enjoy autonomous work and thrive in a quiet shift environment.

Qualifications:

Associate's in Chemistry (or related field) with 5 years of lab experience OR

Bachelor's in Chemistry (no experience required)

Preferred industry: chemical manufacturing, oil/gas, or petrochemical labs

Equipment familiarity with HPLC, GC, AAS, ICP, KF titrators, Brookfield Viscometers, pH meters

Responsibilities:

Perform testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products

Release materials to production based on lab results and quality standards

Conduct equipment calibrations and routine checks

Maintain accurate records using SAP and Documentum

Participate in investigations of quality deviations

Serve as an Emergency Responder (training provided)

Adhere to EHS and Responsible Care guidelines

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 50 lbs

Change gas cylinders and transport lab carts (up to 75 yards)

Walk stairs and perform occasional heavy waste handling
