Your Role: In this role you will work on innovative projects involving automating molecular, protein, and cell-based assays using advanced technologies in liquid handling, detection and analysis. Embedded in our Biology R D team, you will build with other assay scientists and engineering/software experts current and next generation assays using automation. Additionally, you will contribute to the evaluation of new technologies, provide expertise in roadmap activities and execute Proof of Concept and development projects focused on breakthrough innovation. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Using automation tools and approaches to build and verify a variety of assays (protein, molecular and cell-based assays) to support sample to analysis workflows. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in planning, executing and evolving assays that can be automated including measurement and analysis of assays. Leverage experience in coding and prompt design for Lab of the Future type projects. Engage with engineering, marketing and other scientist to drive innovation across biology business. Provide and present content at conference, seminars and workshops as appropriate. Provide technical review and execution expertise for incremental and breakthrough concepts. Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Biochemistry or other Life Science discipline. 3+ years of experience in biological application and assay development (protein/molecular/cell-based assays) using the latest automation, detection and analysis tools. 3+ years of programming experience in creating python scripts and building well developed prompt for LLM's. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in a Life Science discipline. 5+ years in-lab bench experience. Experience with designing and automating assays that pharma and biotech companies implement, including LMS practices and standardization. Project management experience. Experience presenting different formats of results to different levels to peers and different levels of leadership in the organization. The Company is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
