Description
We are currently looking to add a Production Innovation Laboratory Technician to our team in St. Cloud, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for performing laboratory work including conducting research to support validations, verifications, qualifications, and product specification/performance analysis. Compiling data and presenting results, analysis, and recommendations for current products, product line extensions, and processes improvements
What can I expect in this role?
In this position, you will work 7 am - 4:30 pm Monday thru Thursday, and 7:00 am - 11:00 am on Friday.
Some key duties in this role include:
Document research to support new product enhancement as it applies to supporting the company's mission and vision.
Develop approved product enhancements and product line extensions.
Maintain an understanding of regulations and scientific methods used in microbiology, microbial detection, and product development, recognizing critical characteristics of Microbiologics products.
Perform characterization studies and/or design and conduct validations as needed.
Validate processes developed in partnership with R D and check for repeatability of the new processes.
Facilitate transfer of newly developed products from R D to Operations.
Research and investigate retail product failures.
Perform root cause analysis and investigations if corrective action is needed.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and process improvements that enhance product quality, performance, or customer experience.
Investigate development and qualification procedures for manufacturing products to meet acceptance criteria for customers and catalog strain specifications.
