- Conduct laboratory experiments supporting analytical method transfer.
- Perform processes and operate equipment required for large-scale monoclonal antibody (mAb) production.
- Utilize various modern analytical tools and technologies (e.g., U/HPLC, GC, MS, dissolution, particle size, etc.).
- Maintain equipment and problem solve as needed.
- Understand, follow, and accurately complete process documentation to maintain a high level of product quality.
- Understand and follow safety policies.
- Work collaboratively with members of other departments.
- 5+ years of experience in chemistry.
- 5+ years of experience with chromatography (HPLC, GC, UPLC).
- Experience in laboratory, quality control, analytical chemistry, method transfer, method validation, GDP, GMP, GLP.
- BS in Biological sciences or a related field.
- Previous experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale.
- Strong understanding of modern analytical tools and technologies, including techniques for separation science (e.g., HPLC, NMR, GC, LC/MS, Dissolution, etc.).
- Good understanding of quality requirements in analytical support for clinical supplies and manufacturing transfer work.
- Good understanding of chemistry and formulation processes.
- Excellent documentation skills for recording research work and ability to summarize results and data.
- Practical analytical experience working with active pharmaceutical ingredients and related dosage forms.
- Track record of analytical problem solving and method development.
- Basic understanding of the pharmaceutical development process.
- Experience in large-scale production or laboratory scale.
- Understanding of applications of various modern analytical tools and technologies.
- Good documentation and data summarization skills.
- Analytical problem-solving skills and method development experience.
Will be working in the brand new 640,000 square feet facility in Lithia Springs, which is currently under construction. The labs will be completed within the upcoming month. The role involves supporting method transfer and validation testing in the chemistry department. The candidate will need to be comfortable traveling to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2025 for 2 weeks of training, not consecutively.
