Job Summary:

The Quality Control Analyst is responsible for reviewing and validating daily, weekly, and monthly manual reports and data extracts, supporting ad hoc reporting needs, and collaborating with business analysts to ensure timely and accurate delivery of data to internal and external stakeholders. The role includes data quality checks, SQL-based report development, customer support, and ongoing report optimization and automation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Review manual reports and data extracts for accuracy and address any discrepancies.

Publish validated reports to customers based on defined distribution lists.

Translate customer reporting requests into actionable metrics, layout, and structure.

Generate SQL-based reports and file data extracts for the Client Services department.

Create design documentation for new reports and data extracts.

Support ad hoc reporting and analytics using BI tools (SQL, Excel).

Troubleshoot issues with report integrity and data inconsistencies.

Collaborate with business analysts to assess and prioritize reporting requests.

Provide training (formal/informal) for Client Services users on reporting tools.

Assist with data gap identification and IT enhancement projects.

Participate in cross-functional project meetings and initiatives.

Identify redundant or manual reports and propose automation solutions.

Contribute to analytical and consulting efforts to optimize report workflows.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in SQL for data querying and report development.

Proficiency in Excel and BI tools for data visualization and analysis.

Attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and quality.

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into data solutions.

Experience with data integrity troubleshooting and validation techniques.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for interacting with business and IT teams.

Ability to document and maintain report design and logic.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working with Business Analyst and Data Analyst teams.

Background in reporting automation and streamlining data processes.

Familiarity with data governance and production issue resolution best practices.

Certifications:
