As a member of one of the most innovative and fastest-growing groups at Pega, you will work closely with talented engineers and product owners across the globe (US/EU/India) to build a highly scalable Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering.

**Picture Yourself at Pega:**

The Infrastructure Services Team owns the underlying technologies that support the Pega Cloud SaaS product. Pega Cloud is a growing $300M+ business with a 35% market growth. As a key member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, you will work with multiple subject matter experts responsible for deploying end-to-end solutions. You will be part of the Infrastructure Tribe, working on cloud deployments running on AWS and GCP, as well as Kubernetes, Istio, and observability products. Youll contribute across a variety of technologies, vendors, architectures, implementations, and support efforts.

**What You'll Do at Pega:**

+ Design, build, and operate highly-available, scalable cloud-native systems using Golang, Java, or the Pega platform.

+ Propose and lead initiatives from release through completion, ensuring code reviews are conducted within the team.

+ Prepare cloud-native architectural designs across multi-tenant services.

+ Evaluate third-party tools, practices, and technologies for potential use in Pega Cloud.

+ Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, and Operations teams using Agile methodologies to deliver value across the service lifecycle.

+ Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members, and establish technical guidelines for service delivery.

+ Act as a thought leader within Pega Cloud, advocating for best practices in Cloud, DevOps, and microservice architecture.

**Who You Are:**

+ A passionate developer with the experience to guide junior colleagues.

+ A strong advocate of DevOps culture and technically versatile.

+ Skilled in applying design patterns to support Pega Clouds as-a-Service evolution.

**What You've Accomplished:**

+ Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field, with 1014 years of relevant experience.

+ Proven experience delivering and running microservices in production.

+ Strong knowledge of Golang, Java, or Scala application development.

+ Experience reviewing team deliverables, recommending improvements, and engaging with stakeholders.

+ Expertise in designing microservices-based architectures using cloud-native patterns and serverless frameworks.

+ Deep understanding of cloud technologies, ideally with a multi-cloud or cloud-agnostic perspective (e.g., AWS Professional Architect or equivalent for Google/Azure).

+ Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools (Helm, Terraform, CloudFormation).

+ Kubernetes or other containzerization (CKA certification is a plus).

+ Knowledge of networking or FedRAMP-related security practices is a plus.
