Job Description Join a global leader in magnet wire production as a Lab Technician on the 1st shift. Were looking for a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to join our team and help uphold the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. The individual in this role will be a vital member and part of the the magnet wire testing laboratory as a Quality Control / Assurance Laboratory Tech. This role involves testing magnet wire for quality specifications, supporting research and development, and ensuring product performance. You will work in a state-of-the-art, climate-controlled laboratory, contributing to the quality assurance and control processes that make electrical machinery efficient and reliable. Responsibilities- Conduct quality tests on magnet wire to meet quality specifications, investigation, design proposals, R&D, improvement, and performance.
- Provide testing and support for magnet wire products, including metallurgical testing.
- Complete testing on quality assurance and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
- Complete testing on QA and experimental runs, action requests, and sample orders.
- Assist in preparing magnet wire enamels, thinners, and lubricants.
- Perform inspection and analysis of raw materials and chemical products to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Conduct complex tests with meticulous attention to detail.
- Understand and use detailed instructions to perform testing, enter data, and prepare reports or charts.
- Utilize chemical testing equipment and measuring instruments.
- Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and management to analyze, solve, and correct problems.
- Use computer programs, quality systems, and tools, while actively engaging with the quality management system.
- Adhere to procedures, methods, and guidelines to ensure quality, safety, and production goals are met.
- Maintain records and prepare reports for company documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers to maintain positive working relationships.

Qualifications- High School Diploma required, Bachelor's degree in scientific field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in quality assurance/quality control lab technician roles - ideally within a chemistry lab. GMP, with basic laboratory techniques.
- Proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Strong computer skills.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems (ISO/QS/TS).
- High attention to detail, organized, with above-average mechanical skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have
- 2-3 years of chemistry laboratory experience in chemistry testing, viscosity testing, pH testing, water testing, chemical mixing, quality assurance, wet chemistry, and titration.
