About GMU:

***'s integrated, cross-disciplinary Genomic Medicine Unit (GMU) is accelerating progress toward gene and cell therapies by combining an array of technologies, ranging from, viral (AAV) and non-viral (Lipid Nano Particles, LNP) gene-delivery platforms. GMU's mission is to develop and manufacture transformative genetic therapies for patients with rare and common diseases, using viral and non-viral nucleic acid delivery system. Our vision is to establish cutting edge platform technologies of gene editing, silencing, and augmentation, along with manufacturing platforms to enable broad access to genomic therapies for unmet need.

GMU's AAV Technologies Laboratory is working on bringing safer gene therapies for the patients by identifying Client AAV capsids for gene therapies with augmented tropism and immunological profiles. We rely on in depth understanding of AAV biology, high throughput assays, and sophisticated quantitative models.
