The Role: We're looking for a passionate and curious, Senior Scientist I to join our team. What You'll Do: Characterization of biotherapeutics using mass spectrometry (intact mass and peptide mapping workflows) Method development for mass spectrometry-based experiments Work with team members on technology development to reduce the cost and improve efficiency, speed, and capacity of analytical testing and analytical methods Who You Are: PhD with 4+ years relevant industry experience, MS with 6+ years industry experience, or BS with 10+ years' experience Hands-on experience with Orbitrap or TOF technology Experience with liquid chromatography, including instrument maintenance, and method development Large molecule and protein characterization experience Familiarity with mass spectrometry method development Desire to work in a fast, collaborative, and team-oriented environment Additional Preferred Qualifications: Experience with troubleshooting complex instrumentation Experience with other analytical methods including H/UPLC (SEC, RP, HILIC, IEX), CE (CE-SDS, icIEF) Strength in data science and informatics Hands on experience with Protein Metrics, BioPharma Finder, Skyline and other mass spectrometry analysis platforms. The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $126,500-$140,000; Base salary offered may vary depending on individual's skills, experience and competitive market value. Additional total rewards include discretionary annual bonus, comprehensive benefits to include Medical, Dental and Vision, short-term and long-term disability, company paid basic life insurance, 401k company match, flexible work, generous paid time off and paid holiday, wellness and transportation benefits.
