The Associate Scientist is responsible for preparing formulations and prototypes, conducting material characterization and testing, and supporting scientific research activities under minimal supervision. This role requires strict adherence to SOPs, safety protocols, and collaboration with the Principal Scientists to advance product development.
; Key Responsibilit iesPrepare liquid, solid, and other formulations and prototypes according to instructions and SOPs.Prepare analytical samples and operate analytical instruments with minimal supervision.Conduct material characterization and prototype testing independently per SOPs.Handle pure nicotine and prepare nicotine solutions safely according to SOPs.Perform various material processing tasks following SOP guidelines.Assist Principal Scientists with prototyping and 3D printing tasks.Support installation and routine maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment.Conduct literature surveys, design experiments, execute plans, and summarize results as requested.Adhere to all safety procedures related to chemistry, ingredient handling, material processing, and testing.
; Required Qualification sBachelors degree or higher in Chemistry, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific/engineering discipline.Ability to follow SOPs and willingness to perform routine assignments.Strong procedure writing skills.Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and develop skills.Capability to develop new methods and test new sample matrices.Proficient computer, scientific, and organizational skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Self-motivated, adaptable, and maintains a positive attitude.
