Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.
Key responsibilities:- Hands-on work in the development and qualification of the automated flow cytometry method using Hamilton automation platform.
- Perform Cell Counting and Flow Cytometry methods and support development activities.
- Work independently or in collaboration with internal and/or external partners in analytical lifecycle activities including method development, validation, and method transfer.
- Participate in method transfer and troubleshooting at internal and external testing labs.
- Flexible to work with different schedules when required and different teams when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in lab sciences such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Material Science, Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology or similar
- Sr. Scientist: Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 4+ years)
- OR Masters degree and previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2+ years)
- OR PhD
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of a combination of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the requirements of the role.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:- Hands-on experience and In-depth knowledge of flow-cytometry analysis of stem cell or other human cells is required.
- Experience with assay automation and assay high throughput techniques using Hamilton platform is preferred.
- Possess standard lab safety regulations and work in GLP and GMP like laboratory environment
- Excellent technical writing skills are essential.
- Has excellent communication skills and effectively coordinates work across different teams
- Industry experience in cell and gene therapy space is preferred.
- Experience with sample management and ELN/LIMS systems is preferred.
- Experience working with pluripotent/hematopoietic stem cells is preferred.
- Experience in working with contract testing sites (CTO/CDMO) is recommended.
- Knowledge of relevant ICH and regulatory guidelines and good understanding of GMP concept is a plus..
- Ability to prioritize objectives from multiple projects and adhere to scheduled timelines while maintaining flexibility and efficiency.
