Laboratory Manager – Full-Service Clinical Lab (No Bench Work) Location: Western New York (Relocation Assistance Available) Schedule: Full-Time | 24/7 Laboratory Facility: 25-Bed Hospital | Full-Service Clinical Lab

Seeking an experienced and people-centered Laboratory Manager to lead a team of 10 FTEs in our 24/7 full-service clinical lab. This is a key leadership role at our 25-bed hospital, requiring someone with proven supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust and rapport with staff.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee day-to-day lab operations for a 24/7 clinical laboratory

• Lead, support, and develop a team of 10 FTEs, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment

• Ensure operational efficiency, staff scheduling, regulatory compliance, and quality standards

• Serve as the go-to leader for lab-related issues and act as a liaison with hospital leadership

• Coordinate outsourced testing as needed

• Blood banking experience is helpful; bench work is not required

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior experience managing people in a clinical lab setting

• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and build strong relationships with staff

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills – we need someone who connects well with their team

• NY State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (required)
