Job Description
Salary Rage $ 22.26 to $28.50
- Conduct quality control testing of raw materials and finished products, ensuring compliance with Sika QC specifications.
- Report QC results promptly and communicate effectively with all levels of plant management.
- Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and chemicals inventory while ensuring proper calibration.
- Collaborate with the production team as an active QC representative.
- Enter and file QC data, manage COAs for incoming raw materials, and assist with sample shipments.
- Adhere to all Sika Safety, EHS, and ESHQ policies, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Participate in special projects related to corporate initiatives, including safety and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain formula integrity and create lab batches as required by Research and Development and plant management.
- Continuously work to improve safety in the lab and common work areas.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or HS diploma with 1-3 years' experience in overall QC testing and methodology in manufacturing environment.
- Good math and computer skills required, competent with Microsoft Word and Excel software.
- Familiarity with SAP is a plus
- Ability to problem solve required.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, with little supervision
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Applicant must be authorized to work in the United States.
