What Youll Do
  • Conduct routine and specialized clinical lab tests across hematology, microbiology, chemistry, blood bank, and more
  • Collect and prepare specimens with precision and strong documentation
  • Maintain lab instruments to ensure reliability and safety
  • Monitor quality control and take corrective action when needed
  • Report critical test results promptly to clinical providers
  • Adhere to CLIA, CAP, and other regulatory compliance standards
  • Help train new lab staff, students, and interns
  • Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associates degree or higher in Medical Laboratory Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related Allied Health program
  • Completion of an accredited MLT program

Certification:

  • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification preferred (required within 1 year if not currently held)
  • Wisconsin lab licensure (if applicable)

Skills:

  • Proficiency with lab instruments and electronic systems (LIS/EHR)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Effective communication skills and commitment to confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical setting
