Job Description The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to developing functional assays on primary immune cells and tumor cells to assess combinatory therapeutics in vaccine and oncology assets. This includes checkpoint inhibitors, bispecific antibodies, and costimulatory bispecific antibodies. The role requires evaluating the immunogenicity of targets to support cancer vaccine development and contributing to a platform that assesses potential immunogenicity risks of therapeutic proteins. Responsibilities
- Independently develop and execute primary human immune cell functional assays.
- Perform co-culture assays of immune cells and tumor cells.
- Conduct in vitro cell engineering, characterization, and functional assays, such as TCR engineering.
- Analyze data using flow cytometry to characterize human immune cells.
- Perform data analysis, troubleshoot experiments, and record results in an electronic notebook.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to achieve shared project goals.
- Proficiency in T Cell Assays or Co-Culture assays.
- Experience with flow cytometry.
- PhD with 5+ years postdoctoral or industrial experience, an MS with 8+ years, or a BS with 10+ years of experience in immunology, vaccine research, cancer biology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in developing primary human cell-based in vitro/ex vivo functional assays.
- Experience in flow cytometry analysis is a plus.
