TITLE: Quality Control

LOCATION: Gainesville, TX

PAY RATE: $19.50/hour

SHIFT / HOURS:

Monday to Friday, weekends as needed

second shift

Must be flexible with hours. Eventually going to 10-hr shifts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

A summary of the essential functions of the position includes but are not limited to the following:

Understand job hazards and apply all safety related habits to support a safe work environment.

Perform receiving, in-process and final inspections according to documented procedures.

Read and review technical drawings and other documents of the production process and ensure that they are adhered to.

Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure process sheets are being followed correctly and in the proper sequence.

Audit process sheets and other quality documents.

Place non-compliance stickers on any product or raw material that does not meet specifications and fill out reject tag, enter data on respective NC log and provide written information to Management.

Inspect tooling, fixtures, and molds prior to use in manufacturing.

Perform product specific testing as instructed. e., fist article inspections etc.

Record quality data in computer programs as required, organize data and create charts.

Perform laboratory quality control testing according to documented procedures.

Maintain laboratory and testing equipment in a clean and orderly manner.

Perform and record calibration tests on instruments, measuring devices, balances, temperature baths, etc. according to documented procedures.

Assist with other duties or responsibilities as may be assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Able to lift (and will be lifting a lot) up to 50 lbs.

Able to stand, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, reach, bend.

Able to work in non-climate controlled warehouse.

We need a person who can commit to the shift hours without missing work.

Must wear safety goggles and steel toe shoes.

Will be working in extreme heat! Will be going in and out of an oven.
