KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Sr. Chemist will have a proven track record in chemical production and innovation. Responsibilities will evolve as the company grows, but some key duties include: Chemical Production Oversight: Lead and manage the chemical production processes for completions/cementing and injection chemicals. Ensure the consistent quality and performance of chemical products. Innovation and Development: Develop new chemical formulations and processes to enhance product effectiveness. Identify opportunities to create new products in the production sector that will enable company to grow in the space. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements to improve product offerings. Team Leadership and Development: Able to work independently, and act as a leader for the organization. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless integration of chemical products into overall company operations. Provide technical guidance and support to other teams as needed. Operational Efficiency: Develop and implement processes to improve production efficiency and reduce costs. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field is a requirement. An Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. The successful Controller candidate will possess the following experience and qualifications: Experience: 10+ years of experience in chemical production, specifically in the oilfield services sector. Demonstrated history of innovation and successful implementation of new chemical processes. Experience managing and leading technical teams. Skills: Strong project management skills. Excellent communication (verbal, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Attributes: Self-motivated and driven with a strong sense of initiative. High level of integrity and strong moral character.
