Formulation Scientist

Summary: Seeking a Formulation Scientist to support the development of new pharmaceutical products using Softgel Formulation/Process drug delivery systems.

Requirements:

• BS in scientific field with 5+ years lab experience, including 3 years in GMP
• MS in scientific field with 3+ years experience in GMP lab
• Doctorate in scientific field with 1+ year lab experience

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with solubility and compatibility studies
• Proficiency in HPLC analysis

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-formulation, formulation preparation, testing and analysis
• Schedule and execute lab work for timely completion
• Prepare laboratory fill mixes and gel swatches
• Perform various tests including fill moisture, water activity, hardness, rheology, burst strength, impact/drop testing, disintegration, dissolution
• Record experimental details and results accurately

Pay Details: $30.00 to $38.00 per hour
