Location : Arvada, CO
Hours/Schedule: M-F 8 AM - 5 PM
Type: 6 Months Contract to Direct Hire
Pay: $27-$29/hour

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process environmental samples using established methods
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot GC and GC-MS instruments
• Perform full-cycle chemical analyses: sample prep, instrument setup, calibration, data collection, and reporting
• Must have hands-on, end-to-end experience (outside of academics) running one or more of the following:
  • GC for Pesticides (8081), PCBs (8082), TPH/DRO (8015)
  • GC-MS for SVOCs (8270 or 625)

• Maintain accurate records and ensure QA/QC compliance
• Follow all EHS, GMP/GLP, and safety protocols
• Support general lab tasks (e.g., aliquoting, cleaning glassware)
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline
• Demonstrated hands-on experience preparing, running, and interpreting results from GC or GC-MS methods listed above
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
