Quality Control Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic and growing team as a Quality Control Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety. You will be responsible for conducting various inspections and tests to maintain the integrity of our products, packaging, and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment readiness.
  • Conduct X-ray and metal detector testing to identify foreign materials.
  • Perform quality checks and document findings.
  • Conduct dimension and integrity checks on boxes and packaging.
  • Match ingredient codes on labels to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform seal checks and specification checks, including best by dates.
  • Hold production lines if necessary to maintain quality standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree, or equivalent quality experience in the food industry.
  • Understanding of HACCP and critical control points is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, high level of integrity, and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively.
  • Strong sense of honesty and accountability.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
