The Manufacturing Chemist is responsible for manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of products, reviewing data, and working to continuously improve our products. This position is also responsible for preparation, glassware cleaning, monitoring of equipment, record keeping, and other general laboratory duties and tasks.

This position reports to the Certified Reference Material Supervisor, is l ocated in Golden, CO, and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manufacture products with an extremely high level of precision
  • Operate, calibrate, and maintain complex precise machinery
  • Review and analyze data. Participate in peer-review process.
  • Manage, maintain, and restock all raw materials and lab supplies

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelors degree in chemistry or a related physical science
  • 1+ years of direct, working laboratory experience
  • Knowledge of laboratory safety practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of laboratory quality assurance and quality control
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and database applications

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Work with hazardous, flammable, corrosive, carcinogenic, compressed gasses, and toxic materials in a safe manner
  • Work in specialized personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators, face shields, and Tyvek suits.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Working in a manufacturing setting
  • Experience working in an ISO 17034 / ISO 17025 laboratory

The salary range for this role is $ 61,800 $65,500. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.

We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
