Los Pinos Bakery is hiring for the position of Quality Control Specialist to ensure the safety, quality, and integrity of our brand. Must have knowledge of ingredient measures, manufacturing procedures, in-process records, packaging and labeling standards, and compliance with good manufacturing practices and sanitation.
Minimum qualifications:
High School diploma, or an equivalent GED qualification from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position
Completion of a food science, quality management or other science course
Knowledge of equipment/standard use, regulatory standards, and food manufacturing practices
Knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work in a team with a professional and optimistic attitude
Ability to organize, motivate, and train employees towards desired outcomes
Able to work independently with limited supervision. Proactive and takes action without being asked
Physical and other requirements:
Must be bilingual. Speak, read, and write in both Spanish and English
Great attention to detail
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced production line
Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
Capable of standing, walking, bending, reaching, and squatting for extended periods
Able to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays
