• Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and manage the preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist with specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all processes, mentor new team members or students, and maintain high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe and tidy workspace while adhering to regulatory guidelines and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelors degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree while preparing for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain active certification throughout employment.
