Within our Analytical Services team, we have a functional service provider solution, which is a unique partnership that allows our customers to leverage the experience of our staff, while allowing you, the employee, to gain direct experience working onsite at a pharmaceutical/ biopharmaceutical company, all while maintaining full-time benefits.

Job Description:

  • Provide routine (GMP and non-GMP) analytical testing to support clinical phase small molecule drug development.
  • Perform basic lab equipment/instrument maintenance.
  • Follow experimental or qualified analytical procedures and responsible for review and compilation of results and data comparison against SOP acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol, and product specifications.
  • Evaluate and implement new analytical approaches, automation, and software to improve the quality and efficiency of analytical development work and to solve problems encountered during drug development.
  • Author technical protocols and reports.
  • Maintain excellent and compliant written documentation (e.g. lab notebook and test forms).
  • Ensure execution of work assignments by laboratory staff to meet cycle times

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a scientific field (Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, etc.) with 2+ years of relevant experience or MS with 1+ years or Ph.D. (need to align with the requirements at PPD)
  • Hands-on experiences of techniques such as liquid chromatography, gas chromatography, dissolution, PSD, and KF.
  • Experience in a GMP Lab strongly preferred
  • Experience with Empower is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the proven ability to solve complex problems and to work effectively as a multidisciplinary team, detail oriented, multitasking, goal and timeline oriented, and critical thinker.
  • Proven ability in technical writing skills.
  • Time management and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative work environment with a team.
