PhD Chemist

The PhD Chemist will play a pivotal role in researching new tests, ensuring standards are up-to-date, and updating protocols and procedures annually. As the on-site expert and technical reviewer, this individual will oversee all tests from the chemistry department before they are transitioned to Quality Assurance.

Responsibilities

• Research and develop new chemical tests.
• Ensure standards and protocols are current and updated yearly.
• Act as the expert on site, reviewing all chemistry tests before they move to QA.
• Manage and oversee a team of 5 chemists, monitoring their performance.
• Assist with audits and participate in required management and leadership activities.

• PhD in Chemistry, with a preference for Analytical Chemistry.
• Proficiency in chemistry and analytical chemistry.
• Familiarity with inorganic chemistry.
• Basic instrument usage, with preference for HPLC or TOC.

• Experience in inorganic chemistry is advantageous.

The position involves working primarily in a laboratory and office setting. This is a salaried contract-to-hire role, offering 2 weeks of paid time off and paid holidays during the contract period.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
