Kelly Science is seeking a Scientist (Lipid Nanoparticle & RNA) for a growing company located in Marlborough, MA.
Pay: $30-40/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm
Employment Type: 6 month contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion

Job Duties Include:
- Prepare lipid nanoparticles using microfluidic devices and assess their physicochemical properties.
- Maintain and manage mammalian cell cultures.
- Conduct microscopy work and process the resulting images.
- Perform systematic experiments related to In Vitro Transcription reactions using bench-top bioreactors, followed by data collection and analysis.
- Generate lipid nanoparticles through systematic experimentation using our tools, and handle the subsequent data analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising from experimental design and execution.
- Summarize and interpret experimental data, and prepare it for reporting through presentations or publications.
Qualifications:
- PhD in bioengineering, biomedical, chemical, mechanical engineering, or related field.
- Hands-on experience with synthesizing RNA, performing invitro transcriptions, synthesizing lipid nanoparticles, nanoparticle formulation, and analyzing the data and reporting result.
- Experience with any of the following would be highly desired: DLS, Nanoparticle tracking analysis, RiboGreen assay, PCR, HPLC, and/or design of experiments (DoE)
- Ability to troubleshoot experiments and overcome research related obstacles required.
