SummaryThe Wang lab concentrates on 1) understanding mechanisms of chronic pain and drug addiction, and 2) developing new pharmacological treatments for these conditions. We apply the power of molecular pharmacology, neurobiology, epigenetics, pharmacogenetics, and others in our studies.DutiesResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:Design and carry out experiments.Report findings, in oral and written forms, and draft manuscripts.Keep accurate record of the experiments suitable for writing manuscripts and reports.Participate in weekly lab meetings, Journal Clubs and common seminars within the Department.Guide students within the lab.Present the results at scientific meetings.QualificationsMinimum QualificationsPhD in a relevant biomedical discipline (e.g., neuroscience, pharmacology, biochemistry, biological psychology, etc.).
