We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist to join our U.S. laboratory team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about analytical science, instrumentation, and quality systems. You will be responsible for independently managing the full analytical processfrom sample preparation to data reportingusing state-of-the-art instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently set up, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation (e.g., ICP-OES, UV-Vis, XRD/XRF ).
  • Develop, validate, and implement new or revised analytical methodologies.
  • Manage the complete analytical workflow, including sample prep, analysis, data interpretation, and reporting.
  • Understand and resolve optical spectral interferences in complex matrices.
  • Operate within a GLP-compliant laboratory and support GMP manufacturing environments.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance, calibrations, and quality checks on lab instruments.
  • Monitor and trend quality control data; maintain traceability and understand uncertainty of measurement.
  • Support QC laboratories with wet chemistry and other testing methodologies as needed.

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or a closely related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on ICP-OES experience, preferably with simultaneous CCD/CID detectors.
  • Proficient in interpreting and analyzing data generated by ICP-OES.
  • Experience working in an ISO-accredited laboratory environment.

Expectation from the Role:

  • Strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles and laboratory best practices.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including a respirator, as required.
  • Excellent documentation, data analysis, and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
