Position: Scientist II (Bioassay)

Job Overview:
Scientist II specialising in Bioassays is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in leading the technical aspect of Development and Validation of new assays and will work as part of a team to complete client/Sponsor driven projects.
Responsibilities:
- Performing Sample analysis following established SOPs.
- Performing RUO and GxP assays independently or with minimal supervision.
- Participating in Development and Validation of new assays.
- Serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) as needed in accordance with the individual's area of expertise.
- Authoring and/or reviewing protocols and reports as required.
- Performing data processing and data review
- General laboratory tasks including buffer preparation, sample logging and handing, shipping samples to or for clients, equipment maintenance, lab maintenance, and ordering supplies.
- Providing technical assistance to assigned research staff.
- Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- At least BS in a scientific field with at least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience with cell-based assay ELISpot and/or Flow Cytometry techniques is required.
- Experience with GLP and cGMP regulations is required as assay development and validation is highly desired
- Experience with immunoassays (ELISA) is highly desired.
- Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team to complete projects.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work without supervision in a team environment. Will participate in client meetings.
