Job Overview:

Scientist II specialising in Bioassays is a pivotal role which requires a dynamic professional with strong experience in leading the technical aspect of Development and Validation of new assays and will work as part of a team to complete client/Sponsor driven projects.

Responsibilities:

• Performing Sample analysis following established SOPs.
• Performing RUO and GxP assays independently or with minimal supervision.
• Participating in Development and Validation of new assays.
• Serving as a Principal Investigator (PI) as needed in accordance with the individual's area of expertise.
• Authoring and/or reviewing protocols and reports as required.
• Performing data processing and data review
• General laboratory tasks including buffer preparation, sample logging and handing, shipping samples to or for clients, equipment maintenance, lab maintenance, and ordering supplies.
• Providing technical assistance to assigned research staff.
• Providing high quality documentation of all lab related activities, including, for example, assay batch record, sample inventory, etc.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

• At least BS in a scientific field with at least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience with cell-based assay ELISpot and/or Flow Cytometry techniques is required.
• Experience with GLP and cGMP regulations is required as assay development and validation is highly desired
• Experience with immunoassays (ELISA) is highly desired.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work as part of a team to complete projects.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work without supervision in a team environment. Will participate in client meetings.
