About the position:

E Ink is seeking an innovative and results-focused Materials Scientist to help engineer materials for better performance, reliability and consistency via modern inverse design techniques. In this role, you will be working with wet / dry lab practices and techniques to determine rapid screening pipelines that enable collection of large datasets related to E Ink-specific material sets. As the glue between collaborators working with materials and AI-focused scientists, you will be expected to connect the worlds to enable accurate, high-throughput models that can be used to accelerate inverse design of materials. As part of our innovative team, you will be instrumental in enabling these pipelines to operate at scale, with the goal of >100x in the throughput over the next year. In this role, you will work in a collaborative development team environment and work closely with other research teams. As a member of this new initiative, you will be expected to take a leadership role in spearheading this new initiative and delivering results. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, and a record of driving toward pragmatic solutions to industrial problems.
