Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00 AM 5:30 PM

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Microbiology Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth, starting in our Sample Preparation department, with potential for cross-training in other areas over time. Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of all quality activities as per Operating Procedures and test methods.
Handle samples and conduct analyses according to established Operating Procedures and test methods.
Maintain and verify laboratory equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly.
Report any equipment deficiencies or malfunctions to the supervisor.
Identify and document nonconformities using Corrective Action Requests.
Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Execute tasks and responsibilities to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with ISO 17025 standards.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a commitment to the quality system and continuous improvement.
Promote and maintain a positive team environment.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned by Technical Management.

Qualifications:
Associates degree (A.A./A.S.) or higher
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to routinely lift 20-30 pounds and be comfortable with handling hot liquids.
Experience with Windows PC and Microsoft Office
Able to calculate basic math
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Commitment to maintaining quality standards and continuous improvement.
Experience working in fast-paced environments is a plus.
