Chemical Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Chemical Technician with a foundational understanding of chemistry to join our team. The role involves preparing samples and operating instrumentation within the ICP department, utilizing aqueous prep methods.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare samples and operate laboratory instrumentation.
  • Utilize aqueous preparation methods in sample processing.
  • Work within the ICP department to ensure accurate and efficient testing.
Essential Skills
  • Basic chemistry and laboratory skills.
  • Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is highly preferred.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5+ years of laboratory experience.
  • Experience in ICP is ideal but not mandatory.
Work Environment

The role involves working directly in the lab with samples. You will also have your own office space. The work environment is supportive, with opportunities for upward movement, as demonstrated by our leadership team who started as tech 1's in this department. We offer a great benefits package including 401k match.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
